Tom has over 25 years of professional experience in all aspects of real estate development and management. After beginning his career with one of the nation's largest law firms in Chicago, Tom returned to his hometown of Omaha, NE where he worked as a Deputy County Attorney prosecuting felonies and then prior to his founding of Clarity was Executive Vice President and General Counsel for an Omaha based real estate company managing over 2,000 low-income apartment units nationwide. During his time with Clarity, Tom has developed over $500 million in real estate projects including multiple LIHTC 4% and 9% projects. Tom has a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College and a Juris Doctorate from University of Iowa Law School. He was the Chairman of the Founding Board of the Omaha Municipal Land Bank, Vice Chairman of the Board of the Metro Area Continuum Care for the Homeless (MACCH). Tom held a law license for over 20 years in Nebraska and Illinois and continues to hold a real estate brokerage license in the State of Nebraska.

After graduating from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Marketing and Communications,
Colleen started her career in Chicago in advertising at Leo Burnett then The Promotion Network working on major clients; McDonalds, Coors, Orbitz, Quaker Oats and Gatorade. After moving to Omaha, Colleen used her marketing and advertising expertise working in development and marketing for local non-profits where she raised funds as well as awareness for the organizations. She also created new programing and established long lasting partnerships that still flourish today.
Colleen also sits on the Little Bohemia Business Improvement District Board and is one of its founding members.
Chief Financial Officer
As the CFO at Clarity Real Estate Company, Zach oversees financial strategy, operational planning, and growth initiatives across the company’s real estate portfolio. With more than 15 years of experience in finance, business development, and executive leadership, Zach brings a diverse background spanning real estate, technology, tax, SaaS, and insurance industries.
Prior to joining Clarity, Zach held leadership roles with nationally recognized companies including PWC, Applied Systems, and Zywave, where he specialized in strategic partnerships, sales leadership, client growth, and technology-driven business solutions. His experience working with high-growth organizations has shaped his strategic and analytical approach to financial management, operational efficiency, and long-term business development.
Zach earned his degree from Loyola University New Orleans, where he built the leadership and business foundation that continues to influence his collaborative and results-oriented leadership style. He is known for combining financial insight with relationship-driven leadership to support transformative, community-focused development projects throughout Omaha.
President of Property Management
Sydnee is an experienced Multifamily leader with a demonstrated history in the real estate industry. She began her career in property management in 2007 and has developed extensive skills in all assets of property management including operations, sales, marketing, new construction lease-up, site acquisition, renovations, and investment properties. Sydnee has achieved an Accredited Residential Manager A. R. M. (R) certification focused on Property Management from IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) and a CAM designation from the National Apartment Association. She also has completed LIHTC Compliance Cerfication through NIFA and US Housing Consultants. Sydnee has managed over 2,000 apartment units, over 50 employees including SOP training/development/budget/financial implementation, contract negotiation, and maximizing physical and financial occupancy goals. Sydnee holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from Doane University. She has sat on the Nebraska Apartment Association board since 2017 including on the Board of Directors since 2021, Board Treasurer in 2021, Board President in 2022 and Executive Immediate Past President in 2023.
